Living it...

God calls us to action, not to hide behind Him or expect Him to solve everything. Living the Gospel life - life to the full means using our God-given gifts and talents to serve our brothers and sisters - all who sojourn with us through life.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes all we can do is pray, but I do wonder how many opportunities to make a real difference in the world ourselves have passed us by whilst we knelt and prayed, even pleaded with God to 'fix' those problems.

"What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." James 2:14-17
